YOUR INFORMATION MATTERS

Privacy policy

Draft prepared: 10 October 2026

Draft for owner review. Lafpay must confirm its actual data collection, providers, security practices, cookies, and retention periods before adopting this policy. This page does not establish an effective policy date.

1. About this policy

This proposed policy explains how Lafpay handles information when you use its virtual top-up services or contact its team. For privacy questions, contact support@lafpay.com.ng or visit Gidan Mai Ungua, Malumfashi, Katsina, Nigeria.

2. Information involved in our services

Depending on the service you use, information may include your name, email address, phone number, account details, recipient phone number, network selection, transaction references, and messages sent to support. Payment providers may process payment information under their own policies. Lafpay must confirm the exact information collected by its account and payment systems.

3. How information is used

Information needed for a transaction may be used to provide top-ups, verify requests, resolve transaction problems, respond to support messages, prevent misuse, and maintain necessary business records. Any optional marketing and the applicable choices must be confirmed before this policy is adopted.

4. Service providers and sharing

Top-up fulfillment may require sharing the recipient number, network, and transaction information with telecommunications or VTU providers. Payment, hosting, and support services may also process information as needed to perform their functions. Lafpay must identify the actual providers and any additional disclosures in its final policy.

5. This landing page and external links

This landing page has no account sign-up, payment processing, analytics code, or local storage. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which requires a request to Google’s servers. Hosting infrastructure may process connection information such as IP addresses and request logs. Email, telephone, and WhatsApp links open external services with their own privacy practices.

6. Retention and account deletion

Account information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymized when appropriate. Some transaction records may need to be retained for unresolved payments, disputes, fraud prevention, or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Lafpay must confirm the categories and exact retention periods in the final policy. See the account deletion page to contact support about deletion.

7. Security

The final policy should describe Lafpay’s verified safeguards for account and transaction data. Do not send a password, PIN, one-time code, or full card details in an email or WhatsApp message.

8. Your privacy requests

You can contact support to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion. Support may need to verify account ownership before acting. The final policy should confirm the rights, response periods, and complaint channels that apply to Lafpay.

9. Changes to this policy

When the final policy is adopted or revised, Lafpay should publish an effective date and explain material changes as appropriate.
